The value for money was great and the room was excellent. The location was superb, just a short walk from the river and on the high street. The staff was attentive and provided helpful communication.
The breakfast selection could be improved with a wider variety of glasses, cutlery, and comfortable mattresses.

My recent stay at the townhouse was simply delightful. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Kendal, with plenty of pubs and shops nearby. The house itself had a unique charm with its old beams and creaky floorboards, yet it also had modern amenities like a new bathroom and kitchen. The outside deck was a lovely bonus, perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

It is just a couple of minutes' walk from the river and surrounded by pubs and shops. the historic and quirky features of the house add to its charm. the comfortable beds and clean linen ensure a good night's sleep. the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, and the shower upstairs is beautiful.
The hosts were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

The location was superb, with convenient long stay parking nearby. the property had a lot of character and the host was very attentive, providing frequent helpful communication. the basement bathroom was a highlight, with soft towels, dimmable lights, and a relaxing deep bath. There were also plenty of washing facilities for larger groups. the top bedroom had a well-chosen collection of books.
Water doesn't drain well from the upper shower. ⛔.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, being close to the high street yet still in a quiet area. The house had a charming and quirky feel, with beams and creaky floorboards giving it character. The new modern bathroom upstairs and the new kitchen were impressive additions. Plus, the outside deck was a lovely bonus.
The cleanliness of the property fell short of expectations, with dust on windows, glass doors, and mirrors. The property could also use some extra cleaning and more attention to detail.

loved the central location, private and cosy townhouse with balcony and garden. Shops and cafes on doorstep. Easy communication and detailed directions. Comfortable beds, well-equipped property. The bathroom in the basement was a highlight with soft towels and a deep bath.
